The Santa Cruz has a slightly longer body than the Walker Special. It features an exotic top and mahogany back and neck. 
 25" scale length,1 11/16th" nut and 14" radius fingerboard with medium jumbo frets. 24 frets and two humbucker size pickups. This one has Lollar Single Coil Humbuckers. Single coil tones from a humbucker-size pickup. The SCFH offers a very P90-ish tonality, with a bit more "airiness" and a touch less mid range. The output is similar to a P90, with enhanced clarity and chime. It retains some of the grit and "juiciness" of a P90, while allowing for installation in a humbucker rout with little or no modifications. The electronics package comes with the signature effects loop and Jangletone 2 preamp with the Gain knob. It has a master volume, master tone and three way toggle pickups selector.  Effects loop bypass and preamp bypass mini toggle switches.
 The hardware package includes Santa Cruz Guitar Companies open back "Waverly" style tuners and Tone Pros bridge and tailpiece. Oversized strap buttons and Switchcraft output jacks.

The Walker Special features a figured top and mahogany back and neck. This is a two pickup guitar that can accommodate Humbuckers or humbucker size single coils. This model has GFS pickups recommended by Jimmy Herring.
 It has a 24.750 scale length, 1 11/16th" nut width, 14" radius fingerboard with medium jumbo frets. 
 The standard electronics package with master volume, master tone, and master gain knobs. Three way pickup toggle switch, effects loop bypass, and preamp bypass mini toggles.  And of course the Jangletone 2 UGB. Effects loop and mono jacks by Switchraft.
 Hardware includes open back Waverly style tuners by Santa Cruz Guitar Company, Tone Pros bridge and tailpiece and oversized strap buttons.
